"No Country for Old Men"

I just finished the book last night. I really enjoyed "The Road" so I had high hopes for this novel. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it as much as "The Road". Granted, it's written very, very well and the story is a good one. Basically, a guy (Moss) finds a ton of money out in the desert where a drug deal went wrong, and those who want it back put him on the run. It was hard to put down so it definitely had the hook effect, but when I finished the last page...the best feeling I can give is that I felt "empty". There are some great moments and scenes but sometimes the narrative was hard to follow, and in the end I just didn't have a lot to think about at the end. I would recommend the book to others to read, but frankly I'd go with "The Road".

As a side note, I talked to someone this morning who has seen the movie, and it seems like they had a lot of the movie's content and plot in the movie. I'm definitely going to see the movie...someday!
